Local Author Event, Oct 4th & More

Come on out to the Columbia County Public Library in Evans this Saturday, October 4th.  I’ll be there from 11AM until 4PM for a local author event.  If you have print copies you would like me to sign, I’ll be happy to do so and I will have a few copies of books 1, 2 & 3 (and hopefully 4) for sale there as well.

This past week, Book 1 has been #1 in the FREE list on Amazon Christian Fantasy.  Books 2 & 3 have been as high as #2 and #3 respectively in the paid list of Christian Fantasy.  I’m also happy to say that Book 4 has been #1 on the Hot New Releases in Christian Fantasy.  It has also made it into the top 100 in paid Christian Fantasy as well.  I’m thankful for your support and hope you will continue to help me with word-of-mouth promotion.  These mean so much to me!

For those who were so patient for Book 4 to drop, I have good news.  I hope to get pre-orders set up for Book 5 e-book version very soon.  Book 4 was my ‘problem child’, but now that I’ve gotten it out, others will hopefully be released in a much more timely fashion.

Kindle Matchbook is HERE!

Starting today, if you purchas(ed) any of my books in print from Amazon, you will be able to get the e-book version for only 99¢.  This is the new Kindle Matchbook program.  Just check the Kindle page for each book you have purchased in print and you should see that you can now get the Kindle version for just 99¢.  Don’t forget to check other books you have bought from Amazon in the past as some of them may also offer a similar deal to get the e-book at a reduced rate.

I know that some of you bought print copies so you could get me to sign them, but now you can easily (and inexpensively) add them to your Kindle as well.  Enjoy!

My Books & E-books Still Available At A Discount

I just checked and Amazon still has my print books marked down as I posted before.  I have no idea how long this will last, but I’m sure it won’t be for much longer, given past evidence.  If you haven’t gotten my books yet, and want print versions, this is a great opportunity to get a deal on them.  My e-books are still marked down from their original prices as well.  Book 1 is still only 99¢.  Take a look at the reviews for Book 1:

A Pre-Announcement about Book 3

We have submitted the final edits for Book 3, IMMORTAL REBORN – CHOICES OF THE HEART.  All that is left is to wait for the files to be approved and the third book in the CHILDREN OF ANGELS series will be available in print.  Soon after that, we will start working on getting it into e-book format for those of you who prefer that.  I expect to announce both within the next 24 hours or so.

One thing I’d like to mention is that the price for Book 3 ($23.95) is significantly higher than it was for the first two books simply because it is almost twice as long and I couldn’t have priced it lower if I had wanted to.  I hope you will find it worth the cost when you read it.  I do have a little more leeway with the e-book format and so since I’ve marked the first two down in most e-book channels to just $2.99, I will start book 3 out at $5.99.  I hope that this pricing structure will make the price attractive to a larger audience than if I had kept with the original pricing on the first two.  My goal is to get my books out to as many people as possible!

Thanks to everyone for the words of support and encouragement during the last few weeks as I tried to painstakingly proof and edit Book 3.  It has been a massive undertaking.  Also, know that while this book completes the original trilogy that I had envisioned, your support and feedback have helped to spur me on to write more books about these characters.  The arc of the first 3 books can stand alone, but for those who want more, I will be working to bring you at least 4 more books in the series.  Please do spread the word about the books as your word of mouth and reviews (both written and verbal) are all the advertisement I have at this time.

Thank you again for all the prayer and well-wishes that helped me get through the daunting editing process for this near 800 page novel.  Happy reading my friends!

Today Is The Last Day

Today is the last day of Read An E-book Week and it’s the last day to get both of my first two books from Smashwords for only $1.50 each.  You can still get them both from most other e-book retailers for only $2.99 each for a limited time.  While today is the last day for the $1.50 price, it’s not the last day for you to tell everyone you know about my books.  Facebook, twitter, word-of-mouth.  That’s all I have for advertisement.  Thank you to everyone for your love and support!  Book 3 is almost ready.

Read An Ebook Week

Did you know that March is ‘Read an eBook Month’?  As part of that, the week of March 3rd-9th is ‘Read an eBook Week’.  During this week both of my currently released books in the Children of Angels series will be half off at Smashwords.com.  That means you can read both books 1 and 2 for the price of one on the e-reader of your choice when purchased through the smashwords store.  If you already have my books in print, this would also be a great time to add them to your eBook collection.  Smashwords has instructions here for sideloading to most e-readers.

Lendle – Another New Idea

I have joined Lendle.  It’s a way for people who have Kindle books to lend to connect with people who want to borrow books.  I have listed IMMORTAL REBORN – ARIANNA’S CHOICE as being available to lend.  If you’d like to try (and you have a Kindle, or Kindle app) you just have to sign up for Lendle and borrow it.  Even though I’m the author, I technically only ‘own’ one copy so I can only loan it to one person at a time.  First come – first served.  It might be a good way to introduce someone to my books without you having to join Amazon Prime, or buy the first book.  If you or someone you know hasn’t read Book 1 yet, give it a try.

Update:  If I understand what I’m reading…it looks like I may only be able to loan the book once, if that’s the case, this will be a First come – only served deal, but hey … it’s still cool to learn about this service.
