Audio Book, Anyone?

My dear Will is always looking for ways to do his part in getting the word out about my books. He has spent some time recording a bit of Book 1. He and I would love to share these with you so that anyone who hasn’t yet read Book 1 might get a preview.  Just click the AUDIO tab above and scroll past the information about Will’s online radio show.  If you haven’t checked out his show, please consider giving that a try too.

Review of “Immortal Reborn: Arianna’s Choice” by Natalie D. Wilson

natalieFirst, the big picture:  The mythology of angels, fallen angels, and their Nephilim offspring used in this book is incredibly interesting and yet not overly complicated.  You quickly understand (especially if you have a Christian background, although I wouldn’t say that that’s necessary to enjoy this book) the history of this age-old struggle and get a feel for what’s at stake.  The way the author brings historical places, objects, events, and people into the story adds a real depth to these immortals’ lives.  I also really enjoyed that the Nephilim were shown to be from many, many different cultures and ethnicities.

As for the main character, Alexandria learns about herself right along with the reader.   This was a really great way to maintain a sense of mystery to the story, and her back-flashes move the story along without being just distracting little bits of character development.  So much of the…

A First Time For Everything

It’s no big deal, really, but the other day I had a new experience since I started writing. Will and I were taking care of some business in town and when I handed the form with my name on it to the pretty young lady behind the counter, she read my name and asked: “Are you the author?” Well, I was taken slightly by surprise, but it felt awesome.

If you know me, you know I’m a pretty private person, but Will immediately suggested I give her one of my business cards. I don’t know what I’d do without him. He is my biggest supporter…always looking for ways draw attention to my books. I asked if she’d read my books and she told me that she had wanted to since she heard about my book signing at the local library. We completed our business and left, but it was a really great feeling for someone to see my name and recognize me in that way.

Happy New Year – Amazon Current Rank: 43,508 #CR4U

Wishing everyone a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! My year seems to have started off with a small bang.
Will just checked and told me that as of this moment, my Amazon Author Current Rank is 43,508.
That may not seem like much, but it’s actually the BEST it’s ever been…and much better than
my lowest ranking of 425,629. I thank all of you who have taken advantage of my reduced e-book
pricing in the last couple of weeks. I hope to keep the prices this low for a while longer.

If you know someone who would like my books and have the capability of reading in e-book
format, please pass the word along. Let’s see how HIGH I can get 🙂

Doctor Who Christmas

For those who don’t know me well, I am a big fan of the BBC show Doctor Who.
Will decided to make this a VERY Doctor Who Christmas.

I have been busy writing and not posting much here, but as my holiday gift to you, I have reduced the price of ALL 3 e-books in my IMMORTAL REBORN trilogy. Starting today you can get all 3 e-books from Amazon for less than $4 total. E-books for other readers are available for the same reduced price from SmashWords now and I hope the price drop will trickle down to the other e-book retailers soon.
