Just to let everyone know, you may now purchase Book 2 either in print or for Kindle on Amazon.com. Of course you can still order from my e-Store link and use the discount code which will give you the best deal unless your order qualifies for free shipping from Amazon. Either way, please feel free to order using whichever outlet works best for you.
Some other information:
- Book 1 was almost immediately available through Barnes & Noble, and Book 2 will be soon but I’ve not yet gotten payment from books sold there and I’m waiting to see how that works before releasing it through those channels. Unfortunately, it was B&N’s reduced pricing that caused Amazon to drop the price of Book 1 for a while, and to compensate I am offering the 20% discount code so you can get a bit of a break on Book 2 (as well as Book 1). I get a little less money this way, but I’m more interested in getting my books out at this point.
- Book 1 was enrolled in the Kindle Select program which has positives and negatives. One of the positives was that it made Book 1 available for borrow in the Kindle Owners Lending Library. It will be available for borrow until early February, after that time it will no longer be enrolled in that program. One of the downsides is that I will not be able to release Book 1 for Nook or other e-readers until early February. Because of this I will not be placing Book 2 in the Kindle Select program. That means I can release it for Nook, etc. whenever I choose. I will probably release both Books 1 & 2 (and maybe 3) for other e-reader platforms at the same time in early February. Hang in there!
